I DESCRIPTION
Glycoprep-C Powder for Solution is a white crystalline powder packed in a sachet containing 70g or 210g. When dissolved in water it produces a solution.
Glycoprep-C is used for bowel cleansing in conjunction with intravenous pyelograms (IVP), abdominal X-ray examinations, surgery and colonoscopy. The bowel needs to be clean before your doctor can examine it properly.
Glycoprep-C produces watery stools or bowel motions within about an hour after the first administration and after 4 hours should produce a clear discharge.

Glycoprep-C will produce numerous bowel motions within a short period of time. Ensure you have bathroom facilities within easy access from when you start to take Glycoprep-C.

I INGREDIENTS
Each sachet labelled Glycoprep-C contains macrogol 3350, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride and potassium chloride as the active ingredients. It also contains citric acid, ascorbic acid, aspartame and lemon flavour.
This medicine does not contain lactose, sucrose, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes
I WARNINGS
Use with caution in patients with severe ulcerative colitis, those with a stoma, impaired renal function, pre-existing electrolyte disturbances, dehydration, undiagnosed stomach pain, congestive heart failure, diabetics and in the elderly
- Always read the label. Use only as directed.
- Nutritional supplements may only be of assistance if the dietary intake is inadequate.
- Supplements should not be used to replace a healthy balanced diet and adequate physical exercise.
