Sterile, single-use safety lancing device with a 23 gauge (0.65mm diameter) silicone-coated stainless steel needle with a bevelled tip, housed in a rigid plastic body with a protective cap.
Three selectable penetration depth settings: 1.3mm, 1.8mm and 2.3mm.
Needle retracts permanently into the device housing after firing, so it cannot be reused or cause an accidental needlestick during disposal.
Supplied sterile. Box of 200 individual devices.

For single use only - never reuse a lancing device or share it with another person. Select one of the three penetration depth settings (1.3mm, 1.8mm or 2.3mm) to suit the skin at the sampling site before activating. Remove the protective cap, hold the device firmly against the prepared sampling site and activate. The needle retracts automatically and permanently after firing. Place the used device straight into an approved sharps container. Follow the step-by-step directions in the pack insert.
Warnings: Do not use if the sterile packaging or protective cap is damaged, open or already removed - sterility cannot be assured. Do not reuse; each device fires once only. Dispose of used devices in a sharps container, not in household rubbish. Keep out of reach of children. If you are unsure which depth setting is right for you, or if a site is not healing normally, speak to your pharmacist, nurse or doctor.
