Two mushrooms in equal measure: organic Coriolus versicolor at 50% and Hericium erinaceus at 50%, better known as turkey tail and lion's mane.

MRL take a different approach to most of the mushroom shelf. Rather than extracting from fruiting bodies, they cultivate and use the whole biomass, which contains both the mycelium and the primordia, the young fruiting body. Their argument is that the mix of compounds nature assembles is worth keeping intact rather than concentrating one fraction of it.

The mushrooms are grown on a sterilised substrate in the EU under ISO 22000:2018, and the finished powder complies with EU regulation 1881/2006 for pesticide and heavy metal contamination. Manufactured in the Netherlands to FSSC 22000, and certified organic to both EU and UK standards.

2g to 4g daily, with a 2g spoon in the tub. It stirs into water, non-acid juice, yoghurt or hot food. At 250g that is roughly two to four months.
