Most turmeric extracts lead with curcumin 1. ProdromeBDMC is standardised instead to bisdemethoxycurcumin, the BDMC curcuminoid, using the patented BioBDMC 50 extract, with curcumin 1 and demethoxycurcumin present alongside it.

Prodrome Sciences formulates it to support normal brain and nerve function, and the curcuminoids themselves are antioxidants.
