Palo Santo smells like nothing else: bright citrus over sweet resin, with a green pine edge that arrives late and stays.

This is Bursera graveolens from the forests of northern Peru, collected as naturally fallen wood and aged so the resin has fully developed. That ageing is the whole difference between palo santo that smells thin and palo santo that smells like this.

It is the most immediately recognisable scent in the range, and the one people tend to buy again after burning it once. Lighter and brighter than the sandalwoods, so it suits a morning or a room that needs opening up rather than settling down.
