Western Australian sandalwood, Santalum spicatum, burns creamy and warm with a soft balsamic sweetness underneath. It is the smell most people mean when they say incense, and burning it unblended is the difference between hearing a single cello and hearing an orchestra.

The planks are pressed from 100% plant material. No glues, no essential oils, no bamboo core, no synthetic binders. What you smell is wood, not perfume, which is why the scent stays soft rather than sharpening as it burns.

Light a corner, let the flame catch for a few seconds, then blow it out. It smoulders slowly and fills a room without ever shouting.
