DESCRIPTION
Indian sandalwood is the one the temples were built around, and it smells different to its Australian cousin: rounder, sweeter, with a milky depth that lingers in fabric long after the smoke has gone.
This is that wood on its own, pressed into a plank with nothing added. Santalum album has been burned in ceremony for thousands of years, and the reason becomes obvious about a minute after you light it.
Of everything in the range this is the most classical scent, and the one to reach for if you want a room to feel still rather than fragranced.
A corner lit, then blown out. It does the rest slowly.
