DESCRIPTION

The strongest chlorhexidine rinse Curaprox make, for short courses rather than daily use.

Perio plus forte carries CHX at 0.2%, the concentration dentists reach for around an extraction, a graft or an implant. Curaprox pair it with Citrox, a bioflavonoid extract from bitter oranges, and polylysine, which help it hold on surfaces for longer. Xylitol handles the taste and PVP-VA lays a film over teeth, gums and the mucosa.

No alcohol. 200ml. Talk to your dentist about how long to stay on it.

Ingredients

AQUA, XYLITOL, POLYSORBATE 20, CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE, AROMA, PHENOXYETHANOL, VP/VA COPOLYMER, SUCRALOSE, CETYLPYRIDINIUM CHLORIDE, CITRIC ACID, CITRUS AURANTIUM AMARA FRUIT EXTRACT, GLYCERIN, POLYEPSILON-LYSINE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, SODIUM CHLORIDE

Instructions

Rinse with 10ml undiluted for about 30 seconds, then spit. Do not swallow. Leave a gap of at least 30 minutes between brushing and rinsing. Follow the course length your dentist sets.

Disclosure

Chlorhexidine can stain teeth and the tongue and can temporarily dull taste, particularly with longer use. Not for use with a toothpaste containing SLS, which cancels chlorhexidine out; the Perio plus support toothpaste is SLS free for this reason. Use under the direction of your dentist or pharmacist. Keep out of reach of children. Stop and seek advice if you get mouth irritation or swelling.
