Once a day is enough. Slide the brush into the gap and out again in one movement, without forcing it. If it will not go in without pressure, the size is too big; if it goes in with no contact at all, go up a size. Rinse and let it dry. Replace the brush when the filaments splay or the wire bends, usually after a week or two. Start with the smallest and work up until you find the one that fits each gap with light contact.

Never force a brush into a gap. Your gums may bleed for the first few days if you are new to interdental cleaning; if bleeding carries on beyond that, see your dentist. Sizing is worth checking with your dentist or hygienist, because most mouths need more than one size. Keep out of reach of children.
