Magnesium Glycinate Complex uses TRAACS magnesium bisglycinate chelate, buffered with magnesium oxide. Bisglycinate is magnesium bound to two glycine molecules, which gives it a different absorption route to mineral salts and makes it less likely to draw water into the bowel.

The buffering is the other half of the design. Designs for Health builds the chelate to hold a steadier pH through the gut, which is where mineral absorption is usually won or lost, and the formula is less affected by dietary phytates than standard magnesium.

Three excipients only: a cellulose capsule, vegetable stearate and medium chain triglycerides. The 240 capsule bottle is the largest of the three sizes.
