DESCRIPTION
Cinnamon leaf oil is spicier and rounder than the bark, and it smells like the last week of December. Warm, sweet, a little smoky at the edges.
Dolphin Clinic steam distil theirs from the leaves of Cinnamomum zeylanicum in Sri Lanka, the island that has grown true cinnamon for well over a thousand years. It is a middle note and a forceful one, which is why it turns up in the Christmas and Traditional Thieves blends in small proportions rather than on its own.
Two drops in a vaporiser will scent a whole room. On skin it needs serious dilution, and it is not one for pregnancy.
