Of all the citrus oils, grapefruit is the one that reads as clean rather than sweet. Tart, faintly bitter, and genuinely refreshing in a way orange never quite manages.
Cold pressed from the rind of Citrus paradisi grown in Australia, it is a top note that arrives fast and lifts a room. It is the opening note in Mental Clarity and one of the working oils in Toxin Cleanser.
Six drops in a diffuser in a morning kitchen is a good use of it. Dilute it well for anything topical.
Cold pressing keeps citrus oils bright, which is why Dolphin Clinic use it rather than distilling. Bottled in New Zealand.
