DESCRIPTION
Oregano oil is nothing like the dried herb in the pantry. It is hot, sharp, intensely herbaceous, and one of the most concentrated things Dolphin Clinic sell.
Origanum vulgare, steam distilled from the leaves in Spain. A middle note, and a forceful one. It has been in continuous use since Greek physicians were writing things down, which is a long time for a plant to hold its reputation.
Treat it with respect. It needs heavy dilution, it can sensitise skin, and it is not for use during pregnancy. Two drops in a diffuser is plenty.
Spanish grown, New Zealand bottled, and sold with the caution the label actually carries rather than the one marketing would prefer.
