DESCRIPTION
Cold on the first breath and cold again on the second. Peppermint is the most physically noticeable oil in the range and the one people react to fastest.
Mentha piperita, steam distilled from leaves, stems and flowers in India. It is a top note and a sharp one, and the menthol content is why it turns up in the Chest Rub oil, the Decongestant blend and the Clarifying and Stimulating blend.
Four drops in a diffuser on an afternoon that has gone flat. Five per 10ml of carrier for a temple or shoulder rub.
Avoid it during pregnancy.
Available in 10ml, 30ml and 50ml. All three filled in New Zealand, by a company that has been selling peppermint to aromatherapists here since the early nineties.
