DESCRIPTION
Pine is the smell of a cold morning in a plantation: fresh, resinous, green and slightly sweet, and it makes a shut-up house feel opened again.
Pinus sylvestris, dry distilled from the needles in Hungary. It is a top note, and one of the few that genuinely reads as outdoors rather than as a scent of outdoors.
Dolphin Clinic use it in Joyful Moments and in the Christmas blend, where cinnamon and clove sit on top of it.
Use it in small amounts. It can irritate sensitive skin, and it is one to avoid in the first trimester.
