Unburned tobacco leaf in incense does not smell like cigarettes. It is warm, slightly sweet and faintly leathery, and it adds an intimacy the other blends do not have. Vetiver root anchors it with dry earthiness, sandalwood softens everything, and frankincense lifts the top so it does not sit too heavily.
