DESCRIPTION

The thieves story is one of the oldest in aromatherapy: four robbers in plague-era France who worked the bodies and supposedly stayed well because of the aromatic vinegar they wore. Whether any of it is true, the blend that carries the name has been made in roughly the same proportions for centuries.

Dolphin Clinic's version is clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary. Hot, sweet, sharp and medicinal, and it fills a house.

Four to eight drops in a vaporiser. Two is often enough.

Avoid during pregnancy.

Five pure essential oils, no fragrance oils, blended and bottled in New Zealand.

Ingredients

A blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary.

Instructions

Vaporiser or diffuser: 4-8 drops.
Massage or body oil: 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba.
Bath: 4-6 drops stirred through a little carrier oil or milk once the water has run.
Inhalation: straight from the bottle, or a few drops on a tissue.
Dolphin Clinic recommend topical use on five days a week rather than every day.
