DESCRIPTION
Tea tree is the essential oil most likely to be in a New Zealand bathroom cupboard already, and the one with the longest record of traditional use here. Diluted in a carrier oil it is a familiar addition to a skincare routine or a scalp routine; a few drops in water makes a sharp-smelling surface spray, and a capful in the wash freshens towels. Medicinal, camphorous and completely distinctive. A 25ml amber glass bottle with a dropper insert - undiluted tea tree is strong stuff, so it is measured in drops.
