Vanilla is not available as a pure essential oil. The bean will not give one up by steam distillation, which is why every vanilla scent on the market is either an absolute, an extract, or a fragrant oil. Dolphin Clinic sell this one as a fragrant oil and label it that way.

What it is, is a warm, sweet, delicate vanilla that works beautifully in a vaporiser and blends well with orange, sandalwood and cinnamon.

Four to eight drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

It is a home fragrance rather than a therapeutic aromatherapy oil, and the honest labelling is the reason it sits here rather than in the essential oil range.
