Boxed sets from the skincare, home fragrance and wellbeing brands we stock, rather than hampers we assemble ourselves. Each one comes from the brand in its own presentation box.

That covers PoiPoi lanolin cream and mānuka toothpaste six packs, Linden Leaves hand and home sets, Absolute Essential oil collections, Great Barrier Island Bee Company honey and botanical boxes, Tribe Earth incense sampler tins, Dolphin Clinic essential oil packs and Chief Nutrition snack samplers.

Most of them. PoiPoi is made in New Zealand from New Zealand lanolin, mānuka honey and lupin. Great Barrier Island Bee Company works from Aotea, Linden Leaves from Christchurch, Absolute Essential and Dolphin Clinic are both New Zealand, and Matakana Botanicals and Matakana Essentials are made here in our own patch.

Tribe Earth incense is pressed in Western Australia and Chief Nutrition is Australian, so they are the exceptions rather than the rule.

Sets here start around $18 and run to about $170. Under $30 gets a mix and match lip balm three pack, an incense sampler tin or a hand cream selection.

Between $30 and $60 covers most of the honey and botanical gift boxes, the essential oil packs and the PoiPoi lip balm six pack. Above that sit the larger collections and the PoiPoi cream and toothpaste six packs, which hold 600g of product.

Something used rather than displayed, and unscented or lightly scented. A PoiPoi cream six pack, a hand cream trio or a mānuka honey box all work without knowing anything about the person's taste.

Strong fragrance is the thing most likely to miss, so essential oil collections and incense suit someone whose preferences you already know.

The PoiPoi creams in particular were made for hands that work outside, which is the usual gap in a gift shelf.

Yes. The Weleda Calendula baby care set is the standard one, calendula-based and fragrance free, and there is a wooden baby brush set that comes in its own gift box.

For the mother rather than the baby, a hand cream trio or a PoiPoi cream six pack tends to be more use in the first few months.

Every set here arrives in the brand's own box or tin, so it can be handed over as it is. That is the point of buying a set rather than the pieces.
