DESCRIPTION
Green tea catechins are among the most studied compounds in nutrition, and also among the worst absorbed, which is why extract quality varies so widely.
This one uses two green tea extracts rather than one, and the reason is worth understanding. The first is 150mg of Green Tea Phytosome, equivalent to 49.5mg of Camellia sinensis leaf as a 6-15:1 extract, bound to 100.5mg of phospholipids. The phospholipid complex is there to carry catechins across into circulation.
The second is 50mg of plain Camellia sinensis extract, which stays in the intestinal lumen rather than being absorbed, preserving the local activity of green tea in the gut.
Total EGCG content is 58mg per capsule.
Rice flour, calcium laurate, silica and sunflower lecithin in a clear vegetable capsule.
