DESCRIPTION

One pencil, three ways to make marks: colour straight onto paper, sweep over the lines with a wet brush for a watercolour effect, or draw on glass and wipe it away. The seven pencils in this set are short and chunky, sized for a toddler's grip.

The cores are made with natural beeswax and pigment rather than petroleum-derived paraffin wax, set into a wooden barrel. Honeysticks describe them as non-toxic and suitable from one year.

Ingredients

Core: natural New Zealand beeswax with pigments and natural binders. No petroleum-derived paraffin wax. Barrel: FSC-certified poplar and PEFC-certified cedar wood.

Instructions

Use like an ordinary colouring pencil on paper. For a watercolour effect, colour first then brush over the marks with a little water. Can also be used on glass and other smooth non-porous surfaces; wipe off with a damp cloth. Sharpen with a standard pencil sharpener if needed. Adult supervision recommended for young children.
