Dosing by age, as listed on the New Zealand pack:
- Children under 2 years: 2.5 mL twice daily. The manufacturer advises speaking to a doctor before giving to infants under 1 year.
- Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5 mL twice daily.
- Children 6 to 12 years: 5 mL twice daily.
- Adults and children over 12 years: 5 mL three times daily.
Measure each dose accurately and give by mouth. The larger bottle does not change the dose — do not exceed the stated dose for the age group.

Do not use if there is a known allergy to ivy leaf or to any ingredient. Contains sorbitol, which may have a laxative effect in sensitive individuals; not suitable if fructose intolerant. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking other medicines, talk to a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In the event of persistent complaints, or the appearance of shortness of breath, fever, or pus-containing or bloody expectorant, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
