Do not use if: You have bloody diarrhea, severe constipation, abdominal pain, fever (≥38.5°C), appendicitis, or suspected toxic megacolon. Do not use if: You have or have had a severe allergic reaction to loperamide or any ingredient.
Consult your healthcare professional before use if: You have liver disease, kidney disease, or heart rhythm problems. You are taking other medications (especially macrolide antibiotics, antiretrovirals, or QT-prolonging drugs). You are pregnant or breastfeeding. You are over 65 years of age or have a history of abdominal surgery. You have Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Important: Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if:** You develop severe abdominal pain or distension, persistent fever, bloody stools, signs of allergic reaction, fainting, irregular heartbeat, or severe constipation. Diarrhea symptoms persist beyond 48 hours.
Ensure adequate fluid and electrolyte intake during use (diarrhea can cause dehydration). Do not exceed recommended dose. Keep out of reach of children — overdose can be serious in children. May cause constipation; if this becomes severe, discontinue and consult healthcare professional.
