• Never use boiling water when filling your hot water bottle (hot water is of course allowed)
• When filling a jug, it is never completely filled. You fill the jug about 4/5 full.
• (This causes condensation to form in the hot water bottle, causing it to expand)
• Always check above the sink first to make sure the screw cap is properly tightened. (To ensure it doesn't leak.)
