DESCRIPTION
Marri gum is the red resin that bleeds from the marri eucalypt, and it is the smell of a Western Australian summer.
It burns sweet and honeyed with a smoky edge, quite unlike the resins most incense uses. Paired with creamy Western Australian sandalwood, it becomes softer and rounder without losing that distinctive sticky sweetness.
The name is accurate. This smells like being outside among gum trees rather than inside a temple, and it is the least ceremonial-feeling blend in the range in the best way.
Smoky at the base, sweet through the middle, warm all the way down. Two botanicals, both from Western Australia, sustainably sourced and hand-pressed.
