The straps we stock are the Large size, which Strapsicle sizes for the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen (6.8 inch), Paperwhite 12th Gen (7 inch), Colorsoft and Signature Edition. Strapsicle also make a Small for the Kindle Basic, a Medium for older Kindles, Paperwhites 7 to 10 Gen and most 6 inch Kobos, and a separate size for the Kobo Libra Colour and Libra 2. We do not carry those three, so measure or check your model before buying.

Yes. Strapsicle say the straps do not interfere with sleep covers, and because they stretch over the corners rather than sticking to the back, a slim cover sits underneath them without trouble. A thick folio case is a different matter, since the straps are sized to the device rather than the case.

They stretch over the corners, one at the top of the device and one at the bottom, so the band lies across the back. Nothing adheres and nothing is permanent, so they go on and come off in seconds and leave no residue. Slide your hand under the band and the weight of the e-reader sits in your palm instead of being pinched between thumb and fingertips.

So you can read with either hand. One strap sits at the top of the device and one at the bottom, which lets you swap hands without refitting anything, and two readers in the same house can take one each if they prefer a single strap. Seven colours are available, from blush and sage to the three neons.

Regular measures 145 x 200 x 30mm and holds any device under 200 x 140mm, which covers the 6 inch Kindles, the 6.8 inch and 7 inch Paperwhites including the 2024 model, and the 6 inch Kobos and Nooks. Large measures 160 x 230 x 28mm and is for the Kindle Oasis, Kindle Fire, Kobo Libra Colour and iPad Mini. Measure your device against those numbers rather than going by the name of it.

They do not overlap, so the colour decides the size and the other way round. Regular comes in Black, Neon Flame, Neon Lemon and Neon Zest. Large comes in Blush, Caramel, Lilac and Sage. If you have your heart set on a pastel, check that your device fits the Large dimensions first.

Rinse the straps under the tap and let them air dry. Wipe the clutch with a damp cloth and let it dry before the device goes back in. Silicone can pick up dye from dark fabric over time, and the pale colours show it most, so keep a blush or lilac clutch out of the bottom of a bag with new denim.
