Standard vitamin C hits an absorption ceiling: past a certain dose, more in does not mean more absorbed. Coyne address it by encapsulating the ascorbic acid in liposomes, microscopic lipid bubbles that shield it through the digestive tract and carry it into the bloodstream intact.
The raw material is Quali®-C, a European-made ascorbic acid with a reputation among formulators. Each capsule delivers 500mg of L-ascorbic acid as 730mg of liposomal Quali-C, along with roughly 230mg of phospholipids from the bilayer membrane.
It is also non-acidic and gut friendly, which is the practical benefit most people notice first if high-dose vitamin C has upset them before.
