Milk thistle supplements usually give you one thing: a standardised extract, and how much of it reaches you is left to chance. This one runs two extracts of the same plant side by side, for different reasons.
The first is 127.5mg of a full spectrum Silybum marianum fruit extract, a 20-40:1 concentrate that keeps the broader range of compounds found in the seed. The second is 72.5mg of Siliphos, a silybin extract equivalent to an 80-120:1 milk thistle concentrate, bound to 43.5mg of phospholipids from a liposomal bilayer.
Silybin is the most studied of the silymarin compounds and also the least soluble, which is the problem the phospholipid complex exists to address.
For adults 18 and over: one capsule twice daily for the first month, then one to two daily.
Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. (milk thistle) fruit, 20-40:1 extract | 127.5mg
Siliphos, equivalent to milk thistle fruit 80-120:1 extract | 72.5mg
With phospholipids from the liposomal bilayer | 43.5mg
72.5mg Siliphos silybin extract, equivalent to an 80-120:1 concentrate
43.5mg phospholipids forming the liposomal bilayer
Two extracts of the same plant, chosen for different roles
For adults 18 and over
