Apigenin is the flavonoid behind chamomile's long history as an evening tea, and it also turns up in parsley, celery and citrus. The catch is that flavonoids absorb poorly, and apigenin is one of the more stubborn ones.
This formulation wraps each molecule in a phospholipid layer, which is what liposomal delivery means in practice: the compound is protected on the way through the gut rather than left to fend for itself.
Each capsule carries 100mg of liposomal apigenin, providing 50mg of apigenin itself. The distinction matters and the label is straight about it, which is more than many flavonoid products manage.
Adults 18 and over: one capsule once daily, with or without food.
A vegetable capsule. Do not take if you are hypersensitive to apigenin or any component of the formulation.
