DESCRIPTION
Ashwagandha is the root of Withania somnifera, ground to a fine powder. It is a mainstay of Ayurveda and is sometimes called Indian ginseng, and the taste is earthy and bitter, which is why it is traditionally taken with honey in warm milk rather than straight.
This is the root and nothing else, certified organic, grown without chemical pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers. Grown in India and packed in New Zealand.
A quarter to one teaspoon into a cup of liquid is the usual amount. It stirs into warm milk, a latte, a smoothie or a tonic. 100g.
