DESCRIPTION
The 1.5kg catering size of Ceres Organics psyllium husk, the same husk as the 180g pack in a tub that lasts. Psyllium is the husk of the Plantago ovata seed, grown in India and packed in New Zealand. In liquid it swells into a soft gel, which is why it is stirred into water, juice or a smoothie to add fibre, and why it is the binder of choice in gluten-free baking, where the gel gives a loaf the structure it would otherwise lack.
At 80g of fibre per 100g it is close to pure fibre. A 5g serve carries 4g of it, and there are 300 serves in the pack. Certified organic, nothing added.
