Raw Nature

Raw Nature is a New Zealand brand making award-winning natural deodorant that actually holds up through a hot day. Their formulas are free of aluminium, parabens, synthetic fragrance, SLS and palm oil, and come in plastic-free, biodegradable cardboard packaging.

The range is PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free, scented with essential oils, and built to perform rather than just to be "natural." We brought Raw Nature into Matakana Pharmacy for customers switching away from aluminium antiperspirants who don't want to trade off all-day freshness, shipped across New Zealand.

Frequently Asked Questions about Raw Nature

Why choose Raw Nature?

Because it's a natural deodorant that works. It's made in New Zealand without aluminium, parabens, synthetic fragrance or SLS, packed in plastic-free cardboard, and it's PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free. The formulas are award-winning and designed to hold up through a full, active day.

How is a natural deodorant different from an antiperspirant?

An antiperspirant uses aluminium to block your sweat glands. A deodorant like Raw Nature doesn't stop you sweating, it neutralises the odour that sweat can cause, using natural ingredients and essential oils. So you still sweat normally, which is what your body is meant to do, you just don't smell.

Is there an adjustment period when I switch from antiperspirant?

Often, yes. When you stop using an aluminium antiperspirant your body takes a week or two to settle, and you may notice more sweat or odour at first. This passes. Raw Nature has a transition guide to help, and reapplying during the day is fine while you adjust.

How do I apply it?

Apply to clean, dry underarms. A thin layer is plenty, you don't need to overload it. If you're using a balm-style deodorant, warm a small amount and smooth it on.

Is Raw Nature made in New Zealand, and is it vegan?

Yes. Raw Nature is New Zealand made, PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free, and comes in plastic-free, biodegradable packaging.

Does Matakana Pharmacy ship Raw Nature across New Zealand?

Yes. We ship throughout New Zealand, with free shipping available.
