SRW stands for Science Research Wellness. It is a New Zealand biotechnology company, founded by Greg Macpherson, a pharmacist and biotechnologist who set up one of the country's first online pharmacies and its first licensed robotic dispensing facility.

The range is built around the hallmarks of ageing, the changes in how cells work that researchers have identified as part of getting older. Rather than one general formula, SRW groups its products by body system and names them accordingly: Cel for the cellular system, Nrv for the nervous system, Skl for the skeletal system, Cir for circulation, Imm for immunity, Msc for muscle and Ndo for the endocrine system.

Alongside the system formulas sit single ingredients such as NMN, the Black range, and DNAage, an epigenetic test that reports your biological age. Every product lists its full ingredient panel on the page.

What does SRW stand for?

Science Research Wellness. SRW is a New Zealand biotechnology company based in Silverdale, north of Auckland, founded by pharmacist and biotechnologist Greg Macpherson.

What do the product names mean?

Each formula is named for the body system it was designed around. Cel is the cellular system, Nrv the nervous system, Skl the skeletal system, Cir circulation, Imm immunity, Msc muscle and Ndo the endocrine system. The number that follows separates the formulas within a system, so Cel1, Cel2 and Cel3 are three different cellular formulas.

What are the hallmarks of ageing?

They are the cellular changes that researchers have identified as part of ageing, including genomic instability, telomere attrition, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, deregulated nutrient sensing and loss of proteostasis. SRW formulates around this research and explains it in detail on its own website and in Greg Macpherson's book, which we also stock.

Do I need a practitioner to buy SRW?

No. SRW products are general retail supplements and you can order them from us directly. If you would like help choosing between the systems, our team is happy to talk it through.

Which SRW product should I start with?

It depends on what you want to support. Cel3 Renewal and the other Cel formulas work at the cellular level, Skl1 Mobility is built around joints, Cir1 is built around circulation, and NMN is a single ingredient many people take on its own. What is the DNAage test?

DNAage is SRW's epigenetic test kit. You collect a sample at home, send it away, and the laboratory reports a biological age based on the DNA methylation patterns in that sample. It is a wellness test, not a medical diagnosis.
