Bio-active Silver Hydrosol vs Colloidal Silver

Silver has been used in its various forms for homeopathic medical practices since the Han Dynasty in China (1500 B.C.E). It is sometimes taken orally in tiny amounts or used topically in a silver first aid gel for wound care. (1)

One of the most common methods of oral ingestion is with colloidal silver, a liquid containing a suspension of silver particles and silver ions. Colloidal silver formulas may, however, also include compounds like salt, protein, and stabilizers, which can degrade the silver and potentially make it toxic.

Unlike colloidal silver products, bio-active silver hydrosol products like Argentyn 23 only contain positively charged microscopic silver particles (smaller than 1 nanometer) suspended in water and evenly distributed, making it water soluble, easy to absorb and excrete. So your body only uses what it needs and then flushes out the rest. (2)

Studies show that as an antimicrobial, silver ions can enter into a bacterial cell, disrupting multiple cellular processes, which may help the fight of antibiotics against bacterial infections. (3)

Argentyn 23 Professional Bio-Active Silver represents the most refined and purified colloidal silver you can buy. Positively charged silver ions, or cations, remain in suspension and keep their active state so they can go to work helping your body fight potentially harmful viruses, bacteria and fungi.

Studies show that silver has antimicrobial properties and is being used in numerous fields for medical, consumer, agricultural and industrial purposes. (4)

Keep in mind that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates dietary supplements as food instead of medicine. Silver is considered an alternative medicine, so be sure to talk to your healthcare practitioner to see if it's right for you.
