Certified organic olive and jojoba oils carry lavender true (Lavandula angustifolia maillette) and Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) in this pre-diluted 25ml blend from New Zealand aromatherapy house Absolute Essential. The aroma is soft, sweet and gently herbaceous.
Formulated for infants and ready to use on skin, it is applied in small amounts and massaged gently as part of a calming routine. The oils are traditionally used in aromatherapy for their settling character. Seek advice from a health professional before use with infants.

Dilution: supplied pre-diluted and ready to use. Do not strengthen the blend, do not add further essential oil to it, and never apply undiluted essential oils to an infant's skin. Age guidance: the vendor states this blend is designed for use with infants. Before using this or any aromatic oil on a baby — and particularly on newborns, premature infants or a child under medical care — consult your doctor, pharmacist, midwife or Plunket nurse. Not appropriate when the child has grommets. For external use only — not for internal use. If accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting; follow with milk or olive oil and seek advice from a health professional. Avoid contact with eyes — flush with water. Keep away from the mouth and from hands that go to the mouth. Patch-test on a small area of skin 24 hours before first use and discontinue if any skin reaction occurs. May be used alongside other medicines where appropriate; check with your pharmacist if unsure. Keep out of reach of children. Does not contain nut oils, however the place of manufacture also handles nut oils. Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight, with the cap firmly closed. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Instructions
Ready to use on skin — already diluted in an organic carrier base, so no further dilution is needed and none should be added. Apply 2–3 drops to the skin and massage in gently with a fingertip; use as often as required. For a warm compress, add 10 drops to a bowl of hot or warm water, soak a soft cloth, wring it out and lay it on the skin; repeat hourly as required. For body massage, apply 10–20 drops to the tummy and massage gently in a clockwise direction. Patch-test a small area of skin and wait 24 hours before first use. For external use only. Avoid the eyes and the mouth area.
