Bepanthen Scar Treatment has been developed using scientific recommendations for optimal scar treatment. Its silicone gel formula combined with the inbuilt massage roller helps smooth, soften and flatten the scar reducing its overall appearance.
Topical silicone treatments are recommended in International Guidelines as first line treatment for the prevention and treatment of red and raised scars1. Your skin contains collagen fibres that help to keep it strong and elastic. When your skin is wounded it reacts by producing extra collagen to repair the wound. Excess collagen may lead to excess scarring and red and raised scars.

Do not use on open wounds and mucosa.
Do not use close to eyes.
Do not use in case of known allergies to any of the ingredients.

If you experience any skin irritations discontinue use and seek medical advice if necessary. In case of accidental administration into the eyes, on open wounds or mucosa, flush with large amounts of water.
Do not use the massage roller on freshly closed wounds (which have been closed for less than one month) as the newly formed skin is still too fragile and so there is a risk that the wound reopens.
If the massage roller causes pain or discomfort discontinue use.
To clean the massage roller you can use a wet or dry soft tissue and wipe it thoroughly. Do not rinse the ball directly under water. Do not detach the massage roller.

Instructions
Scars less than 1 month old with wound completely closed - Gently apply a thin layer of the silicon gel over the scar. Apply twice daily. Continue use until scar is one month old. Then follow treatment option for scars older than one month.
Scars older than one month with wound completely closed - Use the massage roller to gently massage the surface of the scar a few times. Apply a thin layer of the silicon gel over the scar. Apply twice daily.
