Cepacaine Oral Solution combines a local anaesthetic with an antiseptic in a ready-to-use gargle and mouth rinse that numbs the affected area while helping to reduce bacteria in the mouth and throat. Relief begins quickly and it can be repeated through the day as needed.

- Per mL: Benzocaine 4mg (local anaesthetic), Cetylpyridinium chloride 500 micrograms (antiseptic). Also contains: ethanol 15% v/v. Instructions
Adults and children over 6 years: gargle or rinse with 10mL to 15mL of Cepacaine Oral Solution at full strength for 10 to 15 seconds, then spit the liquid out. Repeat every 2 to 3 hours if necessary. Do not swallow and do not dilute.
Warnings: Not to be swallowed. Not recommended for children under 6 years. Contains ethanol 15% v/v. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking other medicines, or have a medical condition, ask your doctor or pharmacist before use. Do not use if you are sensitive to benzocaine, other local anaesthetics or cetylpyridinium chloride. If symptoms persist for more than a few days, or if you develop a fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting, see your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
