DESCRIPTION

Extracted from roasted Theobroma cacao seeds grown in Peru, this cocoa butter is certified organic, GE free and non-deodorised, so it keeps its full chocolate scent. It arrives as a firm 50g block.

A natural emollient that melts on contact and absorbs readily, it can be applied on its own or melted together with shea butter and jojoba to build your own creams, balms and lip products at home.

Ingredients

Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Butter) — 100% pure, extracted roasted seeds. Certified organic and GE free. Non-deodorised.

Instructions

Skincare base: use as a plant emollient and emulsifier when making your own creams and balms. Lip balm: melt 1 tsp of cocoa butter with 1 Tbsp of organic shea butter, add 1-2 drops of vanilla essential oil once cooler, mix and pour into a container of your choice; use within 12 weeks when made without preservatives. Dry skin: melt 1 tsp of cocoa butter with 1ml of jojoba oil, add a few drops of lemon and patchouli essential oil once cool, and rub into the desired area daily. Blends well with rosehip or evening primrose oil.
