DESCRIPTION

Steam distilled from the seeds of Coriandrum sativum grown in Hungary, this certified organic single oil is warm and spicy in character. Linalool, alpha- and beta-pinene and geranyl acetate sit among its named key components.

Coriander seed is generally diluted in a carrier oil and massaged in, added to a warm compress, or diffused alongside citrus and mint oils. In aromatherapy it is associated with comfortable digestion and a warming, settled feeling.

Ingredients

Coriandrum sativum (Coriander Seed) — 100% pure essential oil, steam distilled from the seeds. Certified organic.

Instructions

For massage, blend 3 drops into 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil and massage gently in a clockwise direction over the abdomen. Alternatively add 5-10 drops to an unscented body oil, or to a warm compress, and apply to the desired area. For diffusion, add a few drops to a diffuser, on its own or with peppermint, cardamom, tarragon and clary sage. Patch test on a small area of skin before wider use.
