Mild eczema, contact dermatitis and reactions to jewellery or cosmetics can leave skin red, raw and hard to leave alone. DermAid 0.5% Cream is the lower-strength hydrocortisone option in the DermAid range, for temporary relief of minor skin irritation, itching and rashes.
Dissolved hydrocortisone in a moisturising base absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy film. The formula is free of lanolin, parabens, fragrance and chlorocresol.

Ingredients
- Per gram: Hydrocortisone 0.5% w/w, equivalent to 5mg of hydrocortisone per gram of cream. Other ingredients: water, cetomacrogol 1000, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, self-emulsifying glyceryl monostearate, macrogol 400, propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol (preservative). Free from: lanolin, parabens, fragrance and chlorocresol (as stated by Ego Pharmaceuticals). Instructions
Adults and children over 2 years: apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area one to three times a day as required, and rub in gently. Wash and dry the area first, using a soap-free cleanser if the skin is irritated. Stop applying once the irritation settles and continue with a plain moisturiser if needed.
Warnings: For external use only. Do not use in or near the eyes. Do not use on children under 2 years of age unless recommended by a doctor. Do not use for acne. Do not use on broken, infected or weeping skin, or on fungal, bacterial or viral skin infections. Do not use under waterproof or occlusive dressings, or for longer than 7 days, unless recommended by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist before use. Stop use if irritation develops or if the condition worsens. If symptoms persist, see your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25 degrees C.
