Ingredients
- Per tablet: Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) 300mg. Other ingredients: calcium carbonate, citric acid, crospovidone, flavour, maize starch, purified talc, saccharin, sodium lauryl sulfate. Instructions
Adults: disperse 1 to 3 tablets in a glass of water and drink, every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 12 tablets in 24 hours. Children 12 years and over: disperse 1 to 2 tablets in water every 6 hours as required. Do not give more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Stir until the tablets have dispersed and drink the whole glass. Best taken with or after food or a drink of milk to reduce stomach upset.
Warnings: Do not give to children under 12 years. Do not give to children or teenagers aged 12 to 16 years who have chickenpox, influenza or a fever, because of the risk of Reye's syndrome. Do not use if you have a stomach ulcer or a history of stomach bleeding, a bleeding disorder, or if you are allergic to aspirin, salicylates or other anti-inflammatory medicines. Do not use in the last three months of pregnancy; ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your pharmacist if you take blood-thinning medicines, methotrexate, other anti-inflammatories or medicines for gout or diabetes. Do not take with other medicines containing aspirin. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not use for more than a few days at a time without medical advice, and see a doctor if pain or fever persists. Keep out of reach of children. Incorrect use could be harmful.
