DESCRIPTION
Saffron is the most expensive spice on earth by weight, and a supplement built on it lives or dies by which extract is inside.
Felix uses affron®, a saffron extract drawn from the stigmas of Crocus sativus flowers grown in Spain and standardised to a defined group of bioactives the manufacturer calls Lepticrosalides®, including crocin and safranal. Each capsule carries 30mg providing 3% crocin and 2% safranal.
Standardising a saffron extract is not straightforward, which is why most saffron on the shelf is sold by weight rather than by active content. affron is one of the few with a substantial body of published research behind it.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, produced under cGMP, and free from sugar, gluten, artificial additives, harmful solvents and GMO material. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, silica and vegetable stearate.
