Three oils that insects have never got on with: citronella, peppermint and lemongrass. Grassy, sharp and lemony, and it smells like a summer evening outdoors.
Use it in a vaporiser on the deck, or twenty drops in 200ml of water as a spray for the room. Dolphin Clinic note it should not run continuously and the area should stay ventilated, which is sensible advice for any strong blend.
Avoid during pregnancy.
Pure essential oils only, nothing synthetic, which is the whole reason to buy an aromatherapy blend for this rather than a supermarket plug-in.
