Myrrh is a resin oil and it smells ancient: bitter, smoky, warm, with a medicinal edge that stops it ever being sweet.
Steam distilled from Commiphora myrrha resin harvested in Somalia. It is a middle note but behaves like a base, lingering long after the lighter oils have gone. Dolphin Clinic use it in Joyful Moments, where the orange and pine sit on top of it.
A little is genuinely a lot. Two or three drops in a diffuser.
Avoid it during pregnancy.
