NeuroCalm is a carefully formulated herbal blend, designed to support patients during times of stress, nervous tension, and mild anxiety. The key ingredients—Magnolia, Ziziphus, and passionflower—exert anxiolytic effects through modulation of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) neurotransmitter pathway.

The combination of the herbs in NeuroCalm have demonstrated action similar to conventional anxiolytics. By affecting key neurotransmitter pathways, NeuroCalm helps alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress effectively.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that passionflower reduces mild anxiety. Its primary constituents, flavonoids, bind to central benzodiazepine receptors, producing significant anxiolytic effects.

In animal studies, the combination of Zizyphus and Magnolia have shown to modulate neurotransmitter activity by binding to dopamine, serotonin, and GABA benzodiazepine receptors. This modulation helps balance the excitatory effects of glutamate with the calming effects of GABA, promoting a sense of calm and relaxation.

Magnolia contains honokiol, a compound that has exhibited anxiolytic effects in animal studies via interaction with GABA-ɑ receptors, providing anxiety relief without causing motor dysfunction or central nervous system suppression.
The traditional Chinese herb Kudzu has been shown to reduce some of the physical effects of mild anxiety and stress, including palpitations, tremor and sweating.
