Ingredients
- Per piece: nicotine 4 mg (as nicotine-resin complex 20% 20 mg). Excipients: chewing gum base, sorbitol powder, sorbitol 70%, flavourings, sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, glycerol, quinoline yellow. Instructions
When you feel the urge to smoke, chew one piece slowly until the taste becomes strong, then rest the gum between your cheek and gum; resume chewing when the taste fades. Chew each piece intermittently for about 30 minutes. The 4 mg gum is for smokers with high nicotine dependence; most use 4–6 pieces daily. Do not exceed 10 pieces of 4 mg gum in any 24-hour period. Use for at least 3 months, then gradually reduce the number of pieces per day; regular use beyond 12 months is generally not recommended. Not for use in children under 12 years; ages 12–18 only on the recommendation of a healthcare professional.
