Fish oil is a commodity where sourcing and freshness separate the good from the ordinary, and neither is visible in the capsule itself.
This one is made from wild caught Alaskan pollock and supplied in the triglyceride form, which is the form the oil takes in the fish rather than the ethyl ester form many cheaper oils are converted to during processing. Each batch is tested for TOTOX, the standard measure of oxidation, since rancid fish oil is the most common fault in the category and is not always obvious.
Each softgel provides 1000mg of fish oil, delivering 400mg of EPA and 300mg of DHA.
One to two capsules daily with meals. Gelatin here is fish derived, not bovine.
