Two numbers separate a serious fish oil from a cheap one, and Coyne publish both.
The first is the TOTOX score, which measures oxidation. Theirs is 5, against an industry-accepted threshold of 27. A low TOTOX means the oil is fresh, which is why it does not repeat on you.
The second is the form. This is natural triglyceride omega-3, not the re-esterified ethyl ester used in most supermarket fish oil, and triglyceride form absorbs better.
The oil is from wild-caught Alaskan pollock, from certified sustainable fisheries, cold extracted and molecularly distilled to strip heavy metals and PCBs. Two capsules deliver 800mg EPA and 300mg DHA, which is a genuinely high ratio.
Natural mixed tocopherols do the preserving. The capsule is fish gelatin.
One to three softgels per day. Sixty capsules. Free from synthetics, artificial additives, GMOs, sugar, soya and added flavourings.
