Rhodiola rosea grows in cold, high altitude regions and has a long history of traditional use in Scandinavia, Russia and across the Arctic.
What matters in a rhodiola supplement is the standardisation, because the two marker compounds are present in very different amounts and cheap extracts often declare neither. This one provides 320mg of Rhodiola rosea root extract per capsule, a 3-7:1 concentrate standardised to 5% rosavins and 1.8% salidroside, which works out at 16mg of rosavins and 5.76mg of salidroside.
That ratio of roughly three parts rosavins to one part salidroside is the proportion found in the root itself, rather than an extract weighted towards whichever compound is cheaper to concentrate.
One capsule daily, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
